Since the launching ceremony of the first ruijiete cup water supply and drainage science and technology innovation competition was held on November 9, 2020, more than 50 students at levels 18, 19 and 20 of water supply and drainage major have independently formed 9 teams to sign up for the competition.

For more than a month, the students used their spare time to carry out research or design, production and test in the four directions of product concentration optimization research of sodium hypochlorite generator, optimization research of on-line membrane pollution cleaning device, analysis of the development prospect of MBR process in China and how to build service specialist IP, and carried out innovation and practice from a different perspective. Finally, six teams participated in the finals.

Five of the six teams stepped on the stage to show and explain their achievements one by one, and answered the questions of the judges. After independent scoring by the judges, one first prize, one second prize and one third prize were awarded respectively by ruijiete technology with a prize of 2000 yuan, 1200 yuan and 800 yuan; The other three teams won the Excellence Award, and each participant won a drinking cup of ruijiete Technology logo.

Deputy general manager Liu Ping showed great interest in the membrane pollution online cleaning project of Lin and other groups, which won the first prize, and decided to set up a special fund to support the follow-up in-depth research of the project on the spot; Wu Ying's group showed the judges the self-developed household portable sodium hypochlorite generator and produced sodium hypochlorite on site, which shocked the judges and unanimously decided to award the second prize to the group; Chen Maoqing's team won the third prize for how to build a service specialist IP project.
